5th Annual Make Your Mark 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Fun Walk

On a sunny, fall day, the Foundation hosted its Fifth Annual Make Your Mark 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Fun Walk. Thanks to hundreds of participants, both former and new, the Foundation was able to make another generous donation to the Abramson Cancer Center's clinical research and patient care efforts.

4th Annual Make Your Mark 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Fun Walk

The Foundation hosted its Fourth Annual Make Your Mark 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Walk on September 14, 2008. PA state representative Anthony Melio spoke during the opening ceremony to show his support in the fight against skin cancer. Anthony represents the 14th District of Bristol Township.

The Foundation hosted its Third Annual Make Your Mark 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Walk on September 30, 2007. A representative from Pretzel City Sports timed the race, adding an element of competition for our runners — whose attendance reached an all time high!

Fulfilling Our Pledge
University of Pennsylvania Hospital

The Foundation presented the Abramson Cancer Center's Dr. Keith Flaherty with a donation that was raised from its '06 events. As a result of the Foundation's total contributions, the Center established a fund in Mark's name — this represents a significant milestone for the Foundation.

The Foundation hosted its Second Annual Make Your Mark 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Walk On September 17, 2006. Due to another large turn-out, the Foundation was able to make its second generous donation to the Abramson Cancer Center's clinical research efforts.

Cut-a-Thon
Hair Cuttery

For only $10, patrons of the Feasterville Hair Cuttery received a wash and hair cut. The catch: all proceeds were donated to The Mark Allen Friedman Foundation in honor of Andrew Laux's father, whose melanoma was discovered by his hair dresser. We thank Andrew for his dedication to our cause.

Bowl For a Cure
Strikes Bowling Lounge

Close to 100 participants braved the cold to come out and bowl for a cure. The event was a huge success, raising thousands of dollars for both The Mark Allen Friedman Foundation and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Thank you Bess Collier, our good friend, who single-handedly organized and hosted this event!

1st Annual Make Your Mark 5K Run/Walk

On a beautiful, fall day in 2005, the Foundation hosted its first event - The First Annual Make Your Mark 5K Run/Walk. Thanks to hundreds of participants, the Foundation was able to make a substantial donation to Dr. Keith Flaherty's clinical research efforts at the University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer Center.

Come join us in the Sixth Annual Make Your Mark Event on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Brunswick Lanes in Feasterville, Pennsylvania for a night of bowling, music and food. You are encouraged to join in the fun (Adults Only) to eradicate skin cancer by funding medical research, increasing awareness through education and providing financial assistance to those personally affected by skin cancer.

Registration Fee: $35 Per Person (Adults Only)

Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

If you cannot participate but would still like to make a donation, donations by mail are greatly appreciated.
